The redevelopment of a constrained former industrial site in Barnes, bordered by housing, Beverley Brook and a stormwater culvert. The design responds to the protected employment uses by locating a new commercial building to the rear and a residential apartment building along the road.
The scheme seeks to repair a heavily industrialised site through landscape and ecological measures. Green walls and a wildflower roof to the commercial building introduce new habitat and biodiversity, while retaining employment space and providing new homes.
