A comprehensive refurbishment of a Victorian semi-detached house in Barnes, incorporating a rear extension, roof dormers and a new basement.

The project required separate planning strategies to negotiate permitted development rights and full planning consent. Internally, a timber and glass stair forms the connection between the kitchen and dining space above and a basement snug and games room below. Walk-on rooflights and mirrored light shafts bring daylight deep into the new basement.
