What we do
Wimshurst Pelleriti is a young architecture practice based in Richmond, London. It was founded by a core team that had worked together at Rogers Stirk Harbour & Partners and is expanding via a talented young team which has developed a deep understanding of how design can influence and affect community, health and wellbeing. Indeed we are seeking to build our brand around the premise that a well-designed building positively affects the health and wellbeing of its users.
While working at their previous practices, the principal partners led teams to design and deliver a wide range of buildings but perhaps the most prominent are the critically acclaimed Maggie’s Centre in London that won the 2009 Stirling Prize, and the new cancer centre for Guys Hospital. What links these projects with our own is the core aim of designing buildings that give joy to the users, with abundant natural light and ventilation, a constant connection to nature, and a domestic feel even in large buildings.
